Tongyuan Wang, PhD, M.Sc., M.E., M.A., has studied and worked in multiple fields. He got his first degree in civil engineering and a Master's in engineering management, both from Chongqing University, China, in the 1980s. He then worked at that university as a lecturer and as an economist in a provincial urban development company. Upon becoming a vice professor, he moved to Canada, where he obtained an M.A. in economics first. Then, he switched to computer science and pursued a Graduate Diploma, a Master's, and a PhD, all from Concordia University, by 2010. After graduation, he did not continue his teaching career due to a convention that a new PhD holder may start as an assistant professor regardless of previous work experience. Instead, he has been working for a startup company to date. During the course, he continues academic and industrial research. His main research interests include pattern mining, ecological and smart cities, as well as sustainable development. In pattern mining, his recently published work has been evaluated by Altmetric as “the 1st percentile (ranked 1st) of the 1 tracked articles of a similar age in International Journal of Data Science and Analytics.” In sustainable development, his published work has been evaluated with new paper invitations and presentations at dozens of international academic journals and conferences.

Dr. Levent Kara is an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida and teaches design studios and theory courses. He is a registered architect in Turkiye and has many awards for his design projects from the American Institute of Architects. Supporting his architectural practice and teaching, Kara's theoretical research concentrates on the epistemology of design thinking, from the fundamental modalities of structural design in terms of the relation between thinking form and structural expression to the more contemporary discussions on the conceptual and practical aspects of structural design processes. In addition to his architectural designs, Kara designed over 20 concrete and steel bridges and overpasses in various parts of Turkiye, Iraq, and Turkmenistan with special emphasis on structural expression and formal and material integrity.

Feria Gharakhanzadeh was born on 21 January 1963 in Tehran, Iran. She pursued her studies in Architecture in Vienna, Austria, where she has been living and working since 1980. She is associated with the Technical University of Vienna and has completed two research projects in her field. Her long-term academic and professional involvement reflects her dedication to architectural research and practice.

Dr Emina Kristina Petrovic is internationally recognised for her expertise on toxicity and sustainability of building materials, including issues with material overextraction and waste. As a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability in Design, Wellington School of Architecture, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, Petrović emphasises the importance of informed building material selection for both the built and natural environment, calling for a more detailed consideration of building materials for the totality of their impacts, better design of materials and circularity instead of disposal. By asserting the relevance of the interrelatedness of these issues, Petrović is providing a critical leadership in a transition to less impactful construction. Because knowledge itself is not enough, Petrović has also contributed a Sustainability Transition Framework, and researches aspects of behaviour change in building industry.

Abdullah Aydın is an Professor of Science/Chemistry Education at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. He received his Master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uludağ University in 1995. He received his Ph.D. in science / chemistry education from Gazi University in 2004. He is a member of the editorial team of 74 international journals (disciplinary and interdisciplinary). The focus of his research is the Analytical Chemistry, trace element analysis, materials and processes, disciplinary and interdisciplinary.

Adam I.A. Mofadal is a highly experienced professional with over 26 years of experience in infrastructure development, management, and reconstruction. He leverages extensive expertise in engineering, project management, and customer relations to advance transportation systems, renewable energy, and environmental projects. Adam excels in designing, implementing, and evaluating road transport systems, focusing strongly on road safety and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). He has presented at international forums and holds a Doctor of Engineering in Transportation Engineering from AIT (2015), an M.S. from UPM (2004), and a B. Tech from SUST (1989). His leadership roles include founding ADM Consultancy Ltd, CEO of Adam Ibrahim Trading & Services LLC, advisory positions at the federal and regional levels, and ministerial roles at the State level. Adam’s project highlights include road design and supervision, safety audits, and renewable energy studies. He is affiliated with engineering councils in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Oman and is a TRB Affiliate Member.

Hamidreza Moradi is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil/Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin Branch, Iran, where he has been pursuing his doctoral studies since 2022 with a perfect GPA of 20/20. He holds two Master's degrees: one in Civil/Structural Engineering, completed in 2022 at the same university with a GPA of 18.42/20, and another in Civil/Road and Transportation Engineering, earned in 2023 from the Islamic Azad University, South Tehran Branch, with a GPA of 18.52/20. His areas of expertise include the design of earthquake-resistant structures, the design and analysis of bridges, and the application of neural networks in structural engineering. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms, Hamidreza Moradi has worked toward enhancing the seismic performance and safety of structures. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Islamic Azad University, Qazvin Branch, in 2006. Hamidreza Moradi was born on July 26, 1981, and is an Iranian citizen. He is fluent in Persian and English.

Danial Mohammadzadeh S. is currently lecturer. He received degree in Civil Engineering in field of Geotechnical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and has over ten years of experiences and teaching in Building Construction, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental Analyses projects. He has authored over sixty publications in archival journals and conference proceedings, eleven inventions, eleven research projects and four books which have been cited for over ،1245 times and h-index 18 by different researchers around the world. All of the papers have been published to the best journals and conferences. He is a lecturer in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran, Azad University of Mashhad, Technical and Vocational University of Khorasan Razavi Province (Montazei Technical University of Mashhad) in Iran, Eqbal Institute of Higher Education Lahoori and Sama University. Also, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Azad University of Mashhad, co-supervisore in the dissertations of a number of graduated students in Universities of Mashhad and an associate member of ASCE. In addition, he is a member of the Editorial Board four journals, Regular Reviewer of five journals, fifteen international conferences and speaker invitation in six international conferences (Canada, Rome, etc). He was mayor advisor in Mashhadd. He has received some award certificates for researching, patents and research projects. Dr. Violetta Kytinou is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh). Her research focuses on non-conventional reinforcement methods for reinforced concrete, as well as the strengthening and rehabilitation of reinforced concrete structures using fiber reinforced polymers (FRPs). Dr. Kytinou also investigates damage indices in reinforced concrete through the use of intelligent systems and finite element analysis. She has been actively involved in numerous research projects, boasts significant international experience, and has published various research papers and participated in international conferences. Additionally, Dr. Kytinou serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several peer-reviewed journals, and she has been recognized with multiple academic awards and scholarships.

Dr. Mohammadmehdi Danesh is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hartford, specializing in Sustainable Design, Building Science, and Resilient Buildings. His research focuses on optimizing energy performance in high-rise buildings, particularly through the use of Double Skin Façade and Building Information Modeling. Dr. Danesh has published extensively in his field, contributing to both academia and practical applications. He is proficient in various energy simulation and sustainable design tools, and his work has been presented at numerous conferences across the U.S.

He is a Senior Researcher, assigned to the Environmental Planning and Conservation Program of the Centro de InvestigacionesBiológicas del Noroeste S.C. (CIBNOR) where he obtained his Ph.D. in the Use, Management and Preservation of Natural Resources, specializing in Ecology, in 2003. He graduated as a Hydrologist engineer and Master of Engineering from the Russian State Institute of Hydrometeorology in St. Petersburg, Russia, graduating with honors from this institute in 1994. He was an honorary member of the commission of experts on climate change, natural phenomena and risk prevention in 2013 and 2014, and of the commission of experts on earth sciences in 2012, 2014 and 2017 of CONACYT; of the Binational Consortium for Regional Scientific Development and Innovation with the University of Arizona, USA and National Council for the Humanities Science and Technology (CONAHCYT)of Mexico in 2014. At the invitation of SEMARNAT he was an honorary member of the evaluating jury to choose the Ecological Merit Award 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was a founding member of the Network of Disasters Associated to Hydrometeorological and Climatic Phenomena of CONAHCYT. He has been invited reviewer of scientific articles for different journals of national and international circulation. He is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers since 2001. His areas of interest are hydroclimatology, environmental impact and climate variability.

He is the author of numerous articles, books and translators. He worked as a project consultant in engineering projects, which were industrial and academic.

He appointed as Assistant Professor in the year 2017 and has more than 8 years of experience in Teaching, Industry, and Consultancy. He earned his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Punjab Technical University Jalandhar India, Master’s degree and PhD degree in Structural and Construction Engineering from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, India. As is evident from his excellent publication record, he has to his credit more than 40 research publications in referred International and National Journals of repute. He has presented several research papers in reputed international conferences held in China, Australia, Sweden, Ireland, Canada, Italy, Poland and Spain.
